LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Just a quick note to let you know what a blessing your seminar in Santa
Rosa was. May God continue to bless and use you in your "war" against cults.
He has given you a mind for His glory.

Dear Watchman:
I just wanted to thank you for the information you have provided about
Mormonism over the years. Recently one of my friends has become a Mormon.
Your resources were useful as I began to witness to my friend over the
internet. Not only did my friend receive this information, but he in turn
has forwarded my responses to half a dozen other Mormon friends.
The Watchman articles have been a wonderful instrument (as well as James
Walker's tapes) in planting the seeds in these lost souls. I pray your
ministry will be blessed as a result of the truth you are proclaiming!

Greetings:
I would like to thank you for a very accurate, articulate, and responsible
reporting of Wicca in your article about the recent involvement of youth
in this old religion ("Youth and the Occult,"
The Watchman Expositor 15.6 (1998)). As the leader of the largest
gathering of Witches in history, Prelude to the Millennium, it has become
increasingly important for even Christians to know the difference between
Satanism, Wicca, Goth, and other forms of "New Age" spirituality.
I personally believe that teenagers can very easily be led from the
right hand path, Wicca, into the left hand path, Satanism, as there seems
to be little seperation (sic) between the two sometimes.

You guys say you are religious. Religious??? This is your religion?
Talk non-sense of other religions? I wonder if you would like to have tons
of material talking the worse (sic) things (mixing thuth (sic) with lies)
of your religion. The LDS members have always tryed (sic) to respect others.
This is the policy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. You
instead have done the contrary. I know that all this is being recorded
and if you believe in a final Judgment you'd better change behavior.
Good luck,

Editor's Response: Watchman Fellowship has never written about a
group called "the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints." If, however,
you are referring to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we
strive to ensure accuracy in all our articles about Mormonism (as with
all the other topics about which we write).
We encourage members of the groups covered in our articles to contact
us about any specific areas in which you believe we have been erroneous
or unfair. We would be happy to discuss your concerns.
The information you have on the Mormon church is absolutely astounding.
I was converted to Mormonism just about a year ago, and I did not know
any of this information that you are presenting. I must say that I regret
that I have joined the church after reading the shocking details of the
Mormon Church. Thank you for doing the world a favor and displaying these
facts. I wish people had a chance to weigh all the evidence in before joining
the church or any church.

Bright Blessings,
I will start with saying that I am a worshipper of the old religion.
I am not writing to threaten or harrass. I would just like to say that
it is refreshing when I go to a site to research the Christian opinion
of "witchcraft" and "Wicca" to see that it is presented in a rational intellectual
demeanor. I just wish to say thank you, you have spared me a miserable
headache.
There are a few things I would like to present to you though. Although
traditionally Wiccans worship in groups called Covens, there are some (myself
as well) who prefer to practice solitary. A lot of those who do, practice
because they believe their faith is a personal thing not to be shared with
others.
As there are Christians who are remarkably militant in their beliefs,
I'm afraid there are Wiccans who are just as aggressive in supporting their
right to worship.
Anyhow. Thank you for presenting an intelligent light to our way of
life.
