Letters to the Editor

I recently attended a lecture in Sioux Falls given by one of your [staff] members on whether Mormonism is a Christian faith. The presentation intrigued me greatly.

I am not a Mormon and was raised in the Methodist church though I don't consider myself a Christian in the orthodox sense, either. This topic stirred my soul into considering what I do believe. I have been longing to return to a church community but unclear as to what church I want to belong to.

I want to thank you for all your help with [my daughter] Nicole and the Mormon issue. I really appreciated all the information you sent. Nicole has really turned around and is enjoying her friends from church again. They came along side when they realized what was happening.

Thanks again for the information and most importantly, your prayers.

Editor's Note: Nicole had gotten involved with Mormon friends and social gatherings, and was interested in Mormon baptism. Our California office shared our Profile on Mormonism, and other helpful information.

I have endeavored to e-mail the watchman organization to tell them of many falasies they had on the watchman website concerning Branhamism.I didn't find an address. Perhaps you can forward this to the appropriate responsible parties. Please read the Book of Jude about railing accusations. I hope they do better research before they criticize next time. With so many false facts , I would have little confidence in what they said.

Thank you for providing information on the Word-Faith Movement. Reading your Profile list, as well as Christianity in Crisis by Hank Hanegraaff, led me to research it. I am now out of it.

God Bless You! I owe you a big contribution!

The purpose of my writing is to say simply that I greatly appreciate your work and am constantly in prayer on behalf of Watchman's ministry.  I am always encouraged when I come across someone who is interested in finding out more about the activities, practices and errors of the cults around them.  This happened just this morning with a man who works for me.  He is the Southern California representative for our ministry and has asked about how to witness to his dentist who is a bishop in the Mormon church.  I was glad to be able to share this resource with him.

This also happened several weeks ago with a teacher from the International School in Quito, Ecuador.  He teaches a course on cults and was asking for information.  It was great to simply share this wonderful resource.

I am quite excited about your work, as I have been for almost 10 years, since becoming a Christian.

May God bless and keep you all.

To Christ, Our King and Saviour, be all glory and honour and praise.

I just wanted to say thank-you soooo much for having so much information on the net! I am from Geelong, in Australia. Tonight in our youth meeting we did a night centred around exposing the occult and talking about how God is the only one true Way. I researched this topic on the internet last night and found your information most resourceful. It was a great help. So I just wanted to let you know!

Thanks again and bless you all heaps,

My warmest greetings to you in the name of the Lord, and thanks for all you are doing to strengthen the Church and rescue and rehabilitate victims of cults, the occult, and new and abusive religions.

Thanks for the copies of The Watchman Expositor you sent to me. They gave me an insight on what cults and the occult really are.

Yours faithfully in Christ,
