One of the practices for which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is best known is polygamy. While the LDS Church officially prohibits the practice of polygamy, many Mormon fundamentalists continue to engage in plural marriage, as do some individuals who claim to be Christian. How widespread is this practice, and how does it deviate from the biblical approach to marriage?
