You wrote a very interesting Profile on the Church Universal and Triumphant. When I was a young child, my mother and I were both "keepers of the flame" while they were still in Pasadena, CA. This was before the move to "Camelot" in Malibu.
I would like to commend you for your simple, yet fair presentation of your Profiles. While they are extremely brief, they remain fair.

Jim McCormick

I have to admit that I am impressed with your website. I quite expected it to be yet another Christian site that espoused love while spewing hate. I was most pleased that you offer honest, non-biased descriptions of religions other than your own, i.e., pagan. I wish you bright blessings.

News items such as the one that appeared in the last Expositor about the movie Battlefield Earth (based on L. Ron Hubbard's book) have left some with the mistaken impression that the story is somehow descriptive of the beliefs of the Scientology religion. This is not the case.

Cathy Norman
Church of Scientology of Texas

Editor's Note: The EPS News item, which appeared in The Watchman Expositor, Vol. 18, No. 1, 2001, was an even handed treatment. It stated that "Scientology themes" were "embedded in the movie." The item also quoted Scientologist John Travolta, as well as film critic Roger Ebert, stating that no Scientology teachings are present in the film. Readers are encouraged to download a Profile on the Church of Scientology from our website at http://www.watchman.org/profile/sientpro.htm, or to order a hard copy for a donation of $2, in order to draw their own conclusions about the film and Scientology teachings.

This letter is printed unedited.

I do not understand how spiritually blinded your organization is. Pray that God will give you the eyeslave to see what is true and what is false.

Hundred of million people in this world have never heard about William Marrion Branham. Yet, you have study and analyze very closely and stil spiritually blinded. Woe unto you, people of watchman organisation, repent before God, never never offended God's anointed.

William Branham is a real man of God. He never fail to serve Lord Jesus Christ. How dare you tag God's prophet as cult. Read carefully what the prophet of God said above America. He said something like this, "Thus saith the Lord I hear a big explosion, America is full of smoke from coasts to coasts and she was destroyed by the atomic bomb, your young ladies.and California go under the sea."

One day, you will find out. You will cry and there is no God for you. Repent and go to the message again and read carefully and pray that God will reveal Himself to you. Review your index of cult, never, never do that again.

People in Bible Believers International will pray for you. You will find out that they are the finest people in the world you will ever know. Focus on His Second Coming,

Daniel Tung

Editor's Note: The writer is voicing concerns over our Profile on William Branham. It can be downloaded via the Internet at http://www.watchman.org/profile/branpro.htm or can be ordered in hard copy for a donation of $2.

I couldn't believe there were actually people trying to stop Waldorf public schools, for people who couldn't afford private schools. Then I realized you are against Waldorf public schools because public schools don't let you teach Christian things or have Christian prayers. So, if you can't have Christian prayers you refuse to have anything that might resemble a prayer or the like for anything else but a Christian statement.

It's really pathetic. You have nothing better to do with your time than fight a type of education that acknowledges the child's own inherent goodness, creativity, musical and artistic ability. It's a wonderful education. Well, if you can't teach Christian dogma then you won't let any possible other type of dogma.

What on earth makes you so angry? Others are greatly benefiting from something, and you are so [expletive deleted] and so angry that seeing others happy makes you more unhappy? That's really sad.

Why not join the KKK and be part of an organization that basically can't hide how angry those people are. Have you ever tried interviewing thousands of graduates? Do something worthwhile and see how much more together they probably are. Don't you realize when you force heavy "believe in this or you'll rot in hell" theories on children too many end up being miserable, taking drugs, doing terrible things to themselves and others. Spread love and it's beautiful, spread hate and.

Ellen Ramsdale

Editor's Note: The writer is taking issue with the article "Waldorf Charter School Controversy," that documents the New Age religious nature of Waldorf in public schools. This article is available via the Internet at http://www.watchman.org/reltop/waldorfcontroversy.htm.
