Similar to many others which claim to have the keys to ancient wisdom, the AMTF explains their teachings "are not new."

They are simply restoring the teachings given by the "Ascended Masters [who] formed the Great White Brotherhood" after the fall of man.

Since the Bible, which speaks of the fall of man and has been available for years, does not mention these mystic teachings, the question, "Why not?" must be asked.

The AMTF explains, "The original Bible-text corresponded much closer to the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood than it does now. The Bible, unfortunately, was embellished upon by many translators and... the Christian church," (AMFT The Teaching of the New Age, p. 1).
